Gastroenterology & Hepatology & Urology

The most effective and invasion-minialized solutions for digestive system

Gastroenterology – Hepatobiliary – Urology Center is one of the leading in Vietnam which develops advanced diagnostic and treatment methods and techniques, conducting minimally invasive techniques thanks to our wealth of expertise. Our ultimate goal is to improve the quality of life for patients with the highest efficiency, the least pain, the fastest recovery, and the best aesthetics.

Customer centric treatment and services

The center has specialized management for each disease group (service line), by each key disease IPU (Integrated Practice Units) with the participation of many specialties and multi-modal treatments (Tumor Board) based on the latest treatment guidelines of advanced countries such as the United States and Japan. Through this, patients are diagnosed with the highest accuracy and can choose the most suitable and advanced treatment methods at the most optimal cost.

Advanced technologies

Robotic-assisted techniques for complex surgeries: gastric cancer, colon cancer, total nephrectomy, partial nephrectomy, and total prostatectomy; treatment of urolithiasis, etc. Furthermore, the center regularly conducts routine liver transplants from living donors, kidney transplantation, as well as less invasive laparoscopic surgeries.

Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) first-in-Vietnam application

Thanks to the coordination of many other specialties (surgery, anesthesiology, rehabilitation, nutrition, and clinical pharmacy), the method of postoperative analgesia by erector spinae plane (ESP) anesthesia without the use of morphine is highly effective in reducing postoperative pain, helping patients quickly recover respiratory and digestive functions, eat and exercise early, and have a quick recovery, thereby reducing the hospital stay duration and reducing costs.

Key achievements

  • Hepatobiliary surgery: Multiple routine liver transplants from living donors, both in adults and children; robotic surgery in gastric cancer, colon cancer, obesity treatment; less invasive laparoscopic surgery for esophagus/stomach cancer; chemical embolization of the hepatic arteries, laser lithotripsy for gallstones treatment, etc
  • Urology: Robotic surgery for total nephrectomy, partial nephrectomy, and total prostatectomy; treatment of urolithiasis by two techniques of endoscopic soft-tube lithotripsy by laser without preoperative JJ stent placement, percutaneous renal lithotripsy through small tunnels under ultrasound guidance; minimally invasive surgeries for total prostatectomy, total cystectomy, bladder reconstruction, etc.

  • Gastrointestinal endoscopy, hepatobiliary: Endoscopic resection of early esophageal, gastric, and colorectal cancers or resection of submucosal tumors less than 2 cm of esophagus, stomach, duodenum, and colorectal by endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD); endoscopic cholangiopancreatography, etc

Gastroenterology – Hepatobiliary – Urology offers examination, diagnosis, consultation and intensive treatment of diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, hepatobiliary system, spleen, esophagus, stomach, small intestine, and intestines. colon, anus – rectum, gallbladder.

  • Endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) helps to treat early cancer and cut tumors under the gastrointestinal tract.
